Professional Development

Student achievement is enhanced by the skill and expertise of the teacher. While academically ready students can excel in any program, opportunities to further teachers’ professional growth are a valuable tool to help all students reach their potential.

At EdExcellence, we provide the following services to instructional programs, schools and districts to strengthen the knowledge base of their professional staff:

Evaluation and suggestions for improvement of current trainings and professional development offerings
Design of professional development / trainings for teachers that is focused on specific content and/or instructional strategies
Implementation of professional development / trainings for teachers in the areas of science, mathematics, literacy, differentiating instruction for diverse student populations and teacher leadership
Design of trainings and coaching for administrators, coordinators and other instructional leaders on specific content and/or instructional strategies.
Implementation of trainings and ongoing coaching for administrators, coordinators and other instructional leaders on effective leadership; organizing and prioritizing instructional programs; and grant management
